Smile Photography
Starting a partnership business has been my main focus since July 2021 and it gifted me with an additional skillset as well. The goal is to start a Photography company, specializing in providing both photo and video services. The parent company would be Comik Ink as I would be reviving the services that the business used to provide. By applying my outlook and point of view from what I understand about my generation, my goal is to provide more opportunities to grow the overall business flow of Comik Ink. The major challenge is marketing the business. Marketing can be costly and learning the skills to do so will provide the business with more opportunities.
The name of the business was inspired by an SYEP intern that keeps close contact with the business. The owner of Comik Ink suggested the use of "Smile Photography". Being that the name is bound to be taken already, I had to think of ways to make it unique.
The icon was created to emphasize the name of the business. I made three sketches to work toward a combination of a smile and a camera. I looked for various ways to put a smile on the camera lens and gave it my own unique spin. The eyes represent the light reflections that tend to bounce back from the camera lens. The next time you have a camera, look and you will see what I mean.
The main goal of this business is to connect clients with freelancers. Smile Photography is the middleman that does the resourcing for the clients' photo and/or video service needs. To do that, the business needs to establish a contract that works for the business, client, and freelancer. In this regard, I took the time to do the paperwork, interviews, and management.
